Our staff, parents and community extend a warm welcome to you and your family and hope you will form a close, rewarding and educational association with our school.

Concongella Primary School is a small rural school four kilometres east of the city of Stawell. We are one of four small schools involved in the Grampians Small School Cluster. Student numbers have fluctuated in recent history between 25-40 students. The school and community have a rich and proud history, yet still today offer a diverse and 21st century curriculum within which students learn via individual learning plans.

We are extremely proud of our modern & technologically inspired classrooms, playgrounds and low student / teacher ratios. Students have 1:1 laptop/computer access, as well as each classroom containing an interactive whiteboard. We boast specialist classes weekly in Visual & Performing Arts, LoTE (German), Choir and Physical Education. We also offer Active After School Sports twice weekly to all students. Daily literacy & numeracy blocks are the foundation on which we build the necessary skills for our ever changing world. A highlight of our school is the extensive camping and excursion program which offers many cultural and personal growth opportunities to the students.

Students are allocated buddies to assist in transition periods and work extensively with them weekly in a variety of forums. We operate Prep – Year 2, Year 3/4 & Year 5/6 composite classrooms.

Parent involvement is paramount to the success and operations of the school, with active School Council, Parent’s Association and Junior School Councils’ often the catalyst behind many of our extra-curricular activities.

The school offers access via bus routes from areas including Navarre & Landsborough and significantly in recent times we’ve added a Stawell bus service daily.

Our school certainly views education as a partnership of students, staff, parents & the local community. Our great strength is to provide an individualised education focused on the point of need for all students.

I trust you’ll find the website helpful, and please contact the school with any additional inquiries.
